Friday, June 25, 2021 10:00 - 12:00 (GMT) Thomas Smithson After decades of laws and stigmas that prevented people from being their true selves’ people are now able to embrace their true identities. However, there is still a lot of confusion and stigma within the therapy room. This workshop is ideal for therapists looking to learn more about sexuality & gender to enhance their knowledge when working with the LGBTQIA+ community. What’s included: • Discussion on genders and sexualities. • Sexuality around the world. • Sexuality and gender within minority groups • Working with LGBTQIA+ clients. • Shame • Internalised phobias Bio: This workshop if facilitated by Tom, the founder of New Horizon Counselling™ Ltd. Tom specialises in working with the LGBTQIA+ community. With qualifications in Counselling, Psychology, Media and Business Administration Tom has combined his knowledge to provide therapists with a workshop that will support you in learning more about the LGBTQIA+ communities. Cancellations: In the event of cancellation of a webinar by the facilitators, we will endeavour to inform all participants at least two weeks before the course is due to take place, although please be aware that this is not always possible. In such an event, all course fees paid will be reimbursed in full. In the event that dates have to be changed by the facilitators, participants may request a full refund if the new dates are not convenient. Should you have any questions regarding these terms and conditions, please contact the admin team. Refunds: Webinar spaces are limited so refunds will only be made if a written notification is received more than four weeks before the workshop date. Send written notification of cancellation via email to admin@kaemotherapy.com. For bookings cancelled four weeks or less before the event, no refund will be made other than in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the webinar facilitators. No refund will be made for non-attendance.
