Saturday, July 24, 2021 10:00 - 12:00 (GMT) Sarah Morrell This workshop looks at definitions and models of emotional regulation, co-regulation and trauma. It allows participants to look at different processing styles and the needs of clients. Participants will also look at how to build their own toolkit of self-care and grounding techniques for themselves and their clients. Including some basic tools from Acceptance and Compassion Therapy, Hypnotherapy, EMDR and Polyvagal theory. Bio: Sarah is a Coach and Counsellor with 15 years’ experience working with trauma survivors to build both mental and physical health resilience. Her professional focus is balancing her own self-care against creating an authentic therapeutic presence. She has trained NHS volunteers and staff on subjects such as self-care, utilising lived experience, fostering autonomy, and safeguarding. Cancellations: In the event of cancellation of a webinar by the facilitators, we will endeavour to inform all participants at least two weeks before the course is due to take place, although please be aware that this is not always possible. In such an event, all course fees paid will be reimbursed in full. In the event that dates have to be changed by the facilitators, participants may request a full refund if the new dates are not convenient. Refunds: Webinar spaces are limited so refunds will only be made if a written notification is received more than four weeks before the workshop date. Send written notification of cancellation via email to admin@kaemotherapy.com. For bookings cancelled four weeks or less before the event, no refund will be made other than in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the webinar facilitators. No refund will be made for non-attendance.
