In this workshop we will explore and consider aspects of neuroscience and neurodiversity with relevance to counselling and psychotherapy through the lens of the race construct. Aspects will include developmental theories, impact of trauma, as well as issues around diagnosis and treatment, trust and understanding. There will be opportunities for small and large group discussion, and for reflections on the implications of the topic for your professional identity and clinical practice.
